Photorealistic digital twins offer considerable added value for the various operational processes of plants, technical installations as well as for infrastructure. Since all important data as well as visual information are centralized and up to date, the majority of on-site visits can be avoided, thus saving travel costs of up to 30 percent. Digital twins such as these also play to their strengths in the area of planning and preliminary planning processes, inventory continuation and, of course, risk management, allowing for significant time and cost savings.
Due to the high costs of creating and updating such digital twins, they have so far only been used in special individual cases or in pilot applications, as they were simply not economically feasible for broader use.
At FRAMENCE, we have therefore developed a process that automatically calculates these digital twins from simple photos taken with conventional digital cameras, using state-of-the-art IT methods. At the beginning of a project, our specialists support you in the initial capture of your technical installations and assets by taking the necessary photos for you using commercially available digital cameras. Of course, we can also support you in regularly updating your twins – it is up to you to decide when and how often you want to use our service.
Another area we can provide support in, is the creation and maintenance of the points of information, subsequently placing them in the correct location in the digital twin and integrating existing dashboards, IoT data as well as live data. We also connect existing third-party systems such as BMS, SAP, ERP, CAFM or other process systems so that all your data is centrally available. For this purpose, we have a whole range of interfaces that we can adapt to your needs in coordination with your in-house IT as well as with your external service providers.
Ultimately, however, you decide which of the services required for the creation and maintenance of your twins you would like to provide yourself. We support you where and when you need us and, thanks to our worldwide partner network, we can offer our services not only on a national but also on an international level.
Of course, with this service you do not give up sovereignty over your confidential data. FRAMENCE is available both as a cloud solution and as an on-premises solution – which solution you choose is also entirely up to you.
